How to Verify your Cell Phone Number

Verifying your cell phone number helps makes your Buzz Account more secure. When you verify your cell phone number other Buzz users will see your TRUST VERIFICATION STATUS go up!

  1. From the ‘Buzz Home’ screen tap on the ‘BURGER MENU’ icon (3 lines located in the top left corner of the screen) – to access the ‘APP SETTINGS & CUSTOMIZATION’ screen.
  2. Choose ‘MANAGE BUZZ PHONE’.
  3. Enter your mobile phone number in the ‘Phone Number’ area.
  4. Tap on the ‘VERIFY NOW’ button to receive a text with a verification code.
  5. Enter the verification code into the ‘VERIFICATION ID’ screen and tap on “VERIFY MY PHONE’.
